I woke up at 6 o clock this morning feeling fantastic, jet lag I presume!
Paul was awake so we went into the basement to check the Email.

We all decided we would go for our breakfast to the local diner.
All the walls were full of pictures of film stars, old cars and things like that. Alison
and myself both had a veggie omelet.
Paul had corned beef hash and Connor had pancakes.
The coffee is free after you buy the first cup, for as long as you like.

Mick & Alison

After breakfast Alison, Connor and I had a trip to the supermarket, it was about as big as ASDA but the difference was the variety of produce available. The USA is a big place with lots of different cultures; hence you get vegetables from South America and fruit from the Southern States. There were some veggies and fruit I had never set eyes on before and wouldn’t know what to do with them! The coffee aisle was large with lots of choice as the people here drink it by the gallon.
I found the staff very friendly and go out of their way to help (and mean it!)
The total bill for a trolley was $70 about £55, not bad for what we had.

When Connor was sleeping me and Alison went for a look around some brand new model townhouses.

This is an example of the Master Bedroom.

After lunch we went to a shopping mall called Anne Arundel Mills and
it’s similar to the Trafford center at Manchester.
It’s great there’s a place where the people that don’t want to shop like me can ten-pin ball,
have a drink, relax and watch sport etc.etc.

When we arrived back home it was feet up, drinks, a takeaway and a movie called SNATCH.
