The Howse Summer Holiday.
(August 2001)

The first question to raise it's ugly head before we had even set off for the airport was...

"So where exactly are we staying son?".
After debating for what seemed like hours, we both agreed to disagree on where we were staying.

Map of Majorca

We stayed in a resort just outside Calles De Mallorca, Majorca.

"Situated on the east coast of Majorca, Calas de Mallorca is one of the more relaxed resorts - providing the perfect base from which to explore the rest of the island. With two quiet, small coves of fine white sand shelving gently into the sea, it's an excellent resort for couples and families with small children. There's pedaloes, water-sports, tennis and golf nearby and a selection of bars, shops and restaurants in the area. All in all, this is a fairly relaxed, low key resort, ideal for those who want to escape the hive of activity of some of the island's other resorts."

We all met at Manchester Airport after managing to grab a few hours sleep at Chris and Rachel's house. Luckily their house is only 20 minutes away. After a much needed English breakfast we boarded the Virgin Sun Airbus and set off on our holidays.
